Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas, [Name]!

It's almost Christmas and everyone here at the North Pole is very busy.  I checked my list twice and saw that you've been a very good [boy/girl] this year, [Name]!  I sure am proud of you for [Recent Accomplishment].  That's great!

The elves are putting the finishing touches on the toys and when I told the elves I was writing to you [Name], they just had to show me some of the toys they have made for you.  There were...oh silly me—I can't tell you.  If I did, I'd ruin the surprise on Christmas morning. Instead, let me just say, [Name], your toys look like a whole lot of fun!

I get so excited at this time of year with all of the gift-giving!  You see, [Name], each and every gift I put under a tree reminds me of the greatest gift of all…  the gift of Jesus.  The baby Jesus was a gift to all of us from God on that first Christmas day.  Make sure that when you open your gifts this year, you also remember that little baby in the manger… He came for you, [Name]!

Time for me to get back to work.  I'm preparing the reindeer and my sleigh for that long trip on Christmas eve.  Please leave out some [cookies and milk] for me on Christmas Eve.  I'll really be hungry by the time I get to your [house - apartment] in [Neighborhood].  Oh, could you leave [a carrot or an apple] for the reindeer, too?  They work hard and will appreciate the treat.

All the reindeer, Mrs. Claus, and my whole team of elves wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!  And make sure you remember to wish Jesus a very Happy Birthday!!

Love,

Santa

Letter 2

Ho Ho Ho! Merry Christmas, [Name]!

How have you been?  I’ve been checking my list and I was very glad to see your name on my nice list this year.  I am so proud of you for [Recent Accomplishment].  That's wonderful!  Soon we’ll be loading up the sleigh and rest assured [Name], there is something special for you this year!

Besides delivering presents, another one of my favorite parts of Christmas is the tree! The elves have picked out an especially wonderful Christmas tree this year and have put it up in their workshop so they can enjoy all the lights and ornaments while they work away. The honor of putting the star on top of the tree fell to Rudolph this year.  He did a magnificent job as he floated to the very tip top of the tree and ever so carefully placed the star in just the right spot. He was very excited to have such an honor! He says that star reminds him of the star that was in the sky on the very first Christmas.

With each gift that we make up here at the North Pole, we remember the greatest gift of all…  the gift of Jesus.  The baby Jesus was a gift to all of us from God on that first Christmas day.  Make sure that when you open your gifts this year, you also remember that star in the sky and the little baby that it was announcing to the world… He came for you,[Name]!

Well, time to get back to work.  The elves are buzzing with excitement and the reindeer are getting itchy to make their annual trip around the world. We all wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!  And make sure you remember to wish Jesus a very Happy Birthday!!

Love,

Santa

P.S. Please leave out some [cookies and milk] for me if you wouldn’t mind... it is such a long night!  Also, could you leave [a carrot or an apple] for the reindeer, too?  All of that flying around makes them really hungry!
